Inverness to Glasgow

(Above image is a capture of Perthshire farming landscape.) This evening, I am posting a selection of my images covering the train journey from Inverness, Scottish Highlands to Glasgow, S.W. Scotland following completion yesterday of the North Coast 500 tour. The train line more or less tracks the the main A9 highway with journey time of about 3 hours 45 mins. All the images herein were taken with a cellphone through the train window with resultant effect on quality. The sequence does illustrate the changes in terrain and climate as the journey progressed from north to south. Cairngorms after overnight snow.
