Wild West meets upscale Edinburgh

   Introduction Today, I visited a highly unusual site in the leafy, Morningside district of Edinburgh , Scotland's capital city.  Video clip  Information on the site . The site entails a collection of faded, Western style facades in an obscure lane (cul-de-sac). Many of the local residents are, apparently, unaware of the existence of the site which is difficult to find but this postcode may be of help:Morningside Rd., EH10 4QG. The facades are attributable to a businessman who used them to promote his American style furniture venture. Unfortunately, the business failed and the facades have been left to wither over the past 10 years or so. This post incorporates both video and stills with the latter edited to present the images to best advantage.
