Cardiff Bay, Wales: A former industrial area now a popular visitor site

Cardiff Bay is a former industrial/port area which has been regenerated and now provides a home to a number of visitor attractions and official buildings including Mermaid Quay, Welsh Parliament, Norwegian Church and Doctor Who Experience.

The city of Cardiff (pop  335,000) is located in South Wales, about 150 miles west of London.
