Cub Fox comes calling for food.

Yabba-Dabba-Doo!

Our new 'visiting Fox' has returned after a gap of 48 hours. He/She seems to be this year's cub and is learning the hard way to forage for food. Body is still somewhat emaciated.

We don't wish to see the animal suffer but on other hand it's probably not a good idea to have it relying on us solely. We gave it a very good portion of dog food which it golloped down.

Fantastic experience to interact with wildlife like this. The cub got to within about two feet of me and was completely unfazed- with hunger taking precedence over personal security.

Will see what happens in the ensuing weeks.
