Classic Car Event

Lincoln Continental

This afternoon I attended a classic car event in our local community, Giffnock, Scotland.

The vehicles dated from the 1950s onwards and served to re-kindle memories from days past. It's amazing how small standard British cars from the 1960s and 1970s were compared to today's equivalent.

Included in the event were a good number of American cars, including a 'giant' Lincoln Continental. I dread to think what the fuel consumption of that vehicle is!

In the background, music comprised a live, Patsy Cline tribute act from the 1950s.
