Classic Car Event
This afternoon I attended a classic car event in our local community, Giffnock, Scotland.
The vehicles dated from the 1950s onwards and served to re-kindle memories from days past. It's amazing how small standard British cars from the 1960s and 1970s were compared to today's equivalent.
Included in the event were a good number of American cars, including a 'giant' Lincoln Continental. I dread to think what the fuel consumption of that vehicle is!
In the background, music comprised a live, Patsy Cline tribute act from the 1950s.

I don't know the name of this but it impresses as a fiendish piece of kit!

Another fiendish piece of kit the brand of which is unknown to me.

Overall, a fascinating event.
