 Information on the Falls

Here is a new suspension bridge from where can be viewed the Black Water River as it tumbles down a steep elevation from nearby Ben Wyvis, a mountain which reaches a height of 3432 feet.

The Falls are spectacular after heavy rain. Salmon can be viewed working upstream during August and September. There is  a salmon ladder to assist the salmon.

Access is from the A835 near the village of Contin. There are parking facilities and a well maintained access path.
