Hike North Glasgow in Winter

Introduction

This evening, I am providing information and images relevant to a small group winter hike around parts of north Glasgow. The route traversed woodland near Dougalston, close to Milngavie and Bearsden This covered a section of the West Highland Way, a long-distance, one hundred mile, trail from Glasgow to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands.

More Information

The images are self-explanatory and reflect the wintry conditions in context of local scenery. Features  include wall murals, woodlands, an old railway track, lake, weir, heron and reservoir.

The route took about three hours to navigate.
