Hike around Helensburgh, Scotland

Waterfront

Introduction

This evening, I am posting information and images covering a small group hike around Helensburgh, Rhu and Firth of Clyde in the West of Scotland.

Information on the Hike around Helensburgh

Helensburgh is an upscale residential area to the West of Glasgow. The most popular visitor attraction is Hill House by famous architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

In this region are excellent scenic views, a  nearby naval base, shops and hotels, landscapes and pleasant walking routes.

Helensburgh was the home of John Logie Baird who invented the earliest version of television.
