Clutha Pub, Glasgow

 Introduction

Today, I visited one of Glasgow's best known pubs, namely the Clutha. Location is Stockwell Street, a short walk from the city centre.

Information on the Clutha

The name 'Clutha' is the ancient name for the River Clyde which flows just a few yards away.

The pub has a long history but has now evolved into a cultural hub for the city, attracting musicians, artists and locals seeking a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Here, there is a commitment to live music including folk, a feature which has been influential in establishing the pub's reputation as one of Glasgow's best music venues.

Here is an image of the helicopter being recovered.
