Day Tour of Fife Coast
Introduction
This evening, I am reporting on one-day, small group tour of Scotland's Fife Coast.
Information on the tour
First, we departed our Edinburgh lodgings and drove north, across the Forth Bridge to our first stop of St Andrews. Here we visited the St Andrews Links Clubhouse then guests availed of a fun putting experience on the Himalayas Course before availing of refreshments at the Clubhouse. Next, shopping for golf merchandise then on to opposite end of town to visit the (ruined) Cathedral which dates from medieval times.

On departing St Andrews we drove to the coastal village of Anstruther where we had an enjoyable fish and chip meal at the famous Anstrutheer Fish Bar.
Next, a tour of scenic, coastal Fife villages which included:
Latter is famous for Alexander Selkirk, whose exploits became the role model for the fictional ‘Robinson Crusoe’.

Finally, we returned to our Edinburgh lodgings at 7.30 pm after a long and rewarding day.
