Moreton-in-Marsh: A popular town in the English Cotswolds district.
This evening, I am posting information on the town of Moreton-in-Marsh which is located in the Cotswolds district of England and about eighty five miles N.W. of London.
Moreton has a population of about 3,500 and is well positioned as a touring base, providing access to such popular visitor sites as:
- Stratford-upon-Avon.
- Warwick and its famous castle.
- Bath, with its Georgian architecture and Roman baths.
- Stow-on-the-Wold.
- Blenheim Palace
- Bourton-on-the-Water .

- Castle Combe

- Chastleton House.
Just minutes away from Moreton can be found Batsford Arboretum and Cotswold Falconry Centre.
As will be evident from the images in this post, Moreton is a substantial town endowed with hotels, pubs, a wide range of shops and various lodgings.
